Downhill Bike Adventure

From Waikiki, a professional nature guide will shuttle you by van to a tropical rainforest high above Honolulu. You'll be shuttled to the top of Pu'u 'Ohia (Tantalus) where you'll be outfitted with a Kona Mountain Bike and Bell helmet and given safety instruction before descending the 5-mile paved jungle road. You'll stop half-way down at Manoa lookout for pictures, narrative and a delicious deli-style lunch (turkey, ham, roast beef or veggie sandwich, chips, cookies and cold beverages). Once you reach the grassy park at the bottom, you'll then return to Waikiki by van.

Capacity: 1 passenger minimum - 14 maximum
Tour Time: 12 noon - 3:00 pm Daily
Includes: Transportation from Waikiki, Deli-style lunch, Bike and helmet and Rain jacket.
What to bring: Socks that cover the ankle, closed toed shoes with good traction for dirt/mud, camera, and spare clothing. Rider must be at least 4'0" tall to ride bike. Tag-a-long trailer riders must be a minimum 3'5" and able to demonstrate ability.

Ohana Rainforest Hike

From Waikiki, professional nature guides will shuttle you by van to a 75 acre private tropical rain forest in Manoa Valley. You'll be issued trail snacks and a water bottle with optional rubber boots and rain jacket. Then take a narrated nature hike 2-miles round trip along a jungle stream with ancient rock terraces and mountain pools to view a 200 foot waterfall. You'll then hike back over a scenic ridge-top viewing the many tropical plants, flowers and trees. Return to Waikiki by van.

 

Capacity: 4 passenger minimum - 13 maximum
Tour Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

You'll be issued trail snacks and a water bottle with optional rubber boots and rain jacket. Then take a narrated nature hike 2-miles round trip along a jungle stream with ancient rock terraces and mountain pools to view a hidden 200 foot waterfall. You'll hike back over a scenic ridge-top viewing the many tropical plants, flowers and trees. You'll then be shuttled to the top of Pu'u Ohia (Tantalus) where you'll be outfitted with a Trek mountain bike and Bell helmet and given safety instructions before descending the 5-mile paved jungle road. You'll stop at Manoa lookout for pictures and narrative. Once you reach the grassy park at the bottom, enjoy a delicious deli-style lunch (turkey, ham, roast beef or veggie sandwich, chips and cold beverage) before you return to Waikiki by van.

Mountain Bike Adventure

From Waikiki, a professional mountain bike guide will shuttle you by van to the historic 1,000 acre Ka'a'awa Valley at Kualoa Ranch on O'ahu's northeastern shore. You'll be outfitted with a front suspension Trek mountain bike, Bell helmet, water bottle and snacks. You'll be given safety instructions before riding along easy-to-ride dirt roads and/or challenging single track. Views from the trail include sheer cliffs and stunning ocean views making this an epic valley ride. Your first stop is a narration of various movie sites including Godzilla and Jurassic Park. You'll also stop for a narrated visit to kauhale (small village) and learn about life in early Hawai'i. After splashing through a tropical stream in this lush valley, you'll visit a WWII military bunker that has been converted into a movie museum. You'll then follow a beautiful coastal trail that rises above the ocean. You may even catch a glimpse of a Pacific Humpback Whale (seasonal Dec-April) that migrate to Hawai'i from Alaska. Approximately 12:30pm, you'll stop at a shaded pavilion for a complimentary lunch and cold beverages. Return to Waikiki by van.

Once you reach the grassy park at the bottom, enjoy a delicious deli-style lunch (turkey, ham, roast beef or veggie sandwich, chips, cookies and cold beverages) before your quick drive to Kewalo to board the 38.6ft catamaran. Relax and unwind as you sail off Waikiki and Le'ahi (Diamond Head) with optional swim/snorkel (weather permitting), you'll return to Waikiki by van.
